ONE
Sweet Little Spencer,
I cannot believe how fast the last month has gone by. You have completely stolen our hearts, including your big brother. Colin adores you and we hope this is the beginning of a life long friendship between you two.
You are a very happy baby. You are quite alert and aware of noises and people around you. You follow people when they move in front of you. You are a really good eater- although you are very gassy. Your little tummy is bloated quite a bit but we are working on that. But you eat every 3 hours on the dot and let us know if you are hungry before that! You are growing for sure as you were already past 9 lbs at your 2 week check up. Sleeping is going well. We are thankful you know night time and day time. You are sleeping for 3 hour stretches at night but Mama is looking forward to longer sleep stretches! You love bath time. Daddy always gives you a bath in the kitchen sink and you completely relax in the palm of his hand. You also love the lotion massage afterwards. You like car rides and sleep most of the time. You don't love getting in your carseat but as soon as you start moving, you are content. Colin doesn't like when you cry. It usually makes him cry too. I'm certain he will look out for you as you grow up together. Colin loves to rock you in your bassinet and he puts his head in your lap to be sweet. It melts our hearts.
We love you so much that our hearts could explode!
